THE GAME AT A GLANCE
1675
1675 is a sailing and coastal trading game in development, set in the seventeenth-century Mediterranean. The journey begins aboard a seven-metre llaüt, with the freedom to choose your course and progress towards larger vessels. Its world is built on real geography and bathymetry. Lateen sails, wind, weather and the hull’s physical response shape every voyage, in first and third person.

LIFE IN THE MEDITERRANEAN
Every voyage leaves a story.
Missions without a fixed course
Assignments become part of your journey: delivering ransom money, bringing freed captives home or undertaking stealth operations. Choose which opportunities to accept, how to prepare and how much to risk in an open world.
Large battles and a threatened coast
Battles, invasions and coastal attacks bring the traveller into contact with larger conflicts. These episodes draw on documented historical events and situations characteristic of the Mediterranean of the period. Sailing also means recognising danger and deciding when to seek shelter.
A reputation that follows you
Rescuing, helping or warning a patrol changes how people trust your character. Reputation is local: a timely warning can open doors in one town, while a false alarm can close them. Traders, patrols and people offering assignments are part of these relationships.
Language brings encounters to life
Free conversation in Spanish lets you address inhabitants in your own words. Each character speaks from their personality, occupation and knowledge of the world of 1675. Location, events and shared encounters give dialogue its context.
Survive to return
Survival runs through the experience: preparing a voyage, reading the weather, finding shelter and weighing the risks of each encounter. Storms, privateering, death and captivity give decisions weight. Protecting the cargo and returning alive and free are part of the journey.
Ports that belong to 1675
Ports combine real geography with historical research: coastlines, approaches, depths, buildings and defences are reconstructed for their seventeenth-century setting. Identified modern works are removed or adapted. Arriving in port means entering a place with its own identity, inhabitants and history.
